ALYSON'S LATEST CD
"ON MY WAY TO YOU"

Alyson's new CD "On My Way To You" was launched nationally this summer 2009. A very successful launch gig at the famous 606 Club in London's Chelsea was sold out and enjoyed by all who were there. A great atmosphere and a great night! Alyson was joined on stage by her band and some special guests - A great line-up including Mark Edwards on the piano, John Parricelli on guitar, Karl Vanden Bossche on percussion to name a few, all of whom feature on the new album. Alyson is currently putting together tour dates for 2010 which will include her appearing with her band at London's prestigious Pizza on the Park, Knightsbridge on March 11th 2010.

'On My Way to You' is a mix of re-worked contemporary pop classics in a jazz style as well as some rare jazz gems. "I love to take a song and totally turn it on its head and do something different with it" says Alyson. "All the songs I have chosen are special to me for different reasons, some just because we have had great fun performing them live as a band, some because they tell part of the story of my life experiences. They are songs that reflect the joys and sorrows, the highs and lows that we all go through at one time or another in life."

From re-working Kate Bush's 'The Man with the child in his eyes' Stevie Wonder's 'Another Star' and Oasis' 'Wonderwall' through to George Gershwin's "I love you Porgy" there is something for all jazz fans with a contemporary twist. Alyson has collaborated on this project with some of Britain's finest jazz musicians including Mark Edwards on piano, who also produced the album, Andy Cleyndert on Bass, the world class John Parricelli on Guitar Troy Miller on Drums who tours with Amy Winehouse and Mark Ronson, Karl Vanden Bossche on percussion and Ben Castle on Saxophone.
